About
Mrs. Fine is a graduate of Gardendale High School, Birmingham-Southern College with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting, University of Alabama at Birmingham with a Masters of Elementary Education, and has just completed the program at Samford University for a certificate in Gifted Education.
She previously taught in Jefferson County(Snow Rogers Elementary – grade 4 teacher), Birmingham City Schools (Charles A. Brown Elementary – Title I Enrichment/Computer), Cleveland Municipal Schools (Cleveland, OH – Grade 4 and 5) and most recently taught 5th grade at Birmingham City Schools, T. R. Wright Elementary. She is now teaching 4th grade gifted children in the Southwest Cluster of the Birmingham City Schools and is based at EPIC.
Mrs. Fine is married to husband, Ron, for 32 years (no she is really not that old:) and has one grown son, Nicholas – age 27.
When she is not teaching or planning lessons, Mrs. Fine likes to read and travel (and yes – she is a bit of a computer geek:).
